Looking for a unique and unforgettable way to celebrate your child’s birthday? Santa Cruz Maker Studios offers a unique and memorable birthday party experiences where kids can build, craft, and create together! Available crafting stations and themed activities: ✔ Woodworking – Build a box with a latch and hinge, wooden tool box, wooden shelf, string art, or minecraft inspired block art. ✔ Sewing & Beading – Create stuffed animals, jewelry, or textile crafts. ✔ 3D Printing & Electronics– Design and take home a custom figurine, or custom laser engravings. 🎉 What’s Included: (Base price $850) ✔ 3-hour private party with two personal instructors. This provides adequate time for both completing crafting activities and having birthday celebrations. ✔ Included 2 crafting stations (woodworking or sewing / beading or 3D printing / electronics) ✔Drawing & Painting Station included with every party, giving participants an additional creative activity to personalize and add finishing touches to their projects. ✔ All materials for a creative take-home project. ✔ Up to 12 crafting participants included in the base price (chaperones and non-participating guests are not included in this count). ✔ Exclusive access to our ~4,000 square foot studio space. ✔ Set up and take down time included: Families are allowed to arrive 15-minutes early to set up and 15-minutes after the event to clean up items and food brought to the studio. ✔ Included use of our beautifully designed open-concept break room and dining area for food, drinks, and cake cutting! Additional Options: ➕ Extra Participants (beyond 12): $50 each. For parties of 16-25 participants, the rate is $25 per additional participant, plus a $300 fee for an additional instructor (max participants is 25). ➕ Add a Third Crafting Instructor: A third crafting instructor is required for parties with 16+ participants and may be added to smaller parties to add an additional crafting station. $300 ➕ More Time: Additional 30 minutes (beyond 3 hours): $75 (maximum time of 4 hours). Participants & Age Requirements: Ages 7+: Participants may be dropped off without a parent or guardian. Ages 5-6: A parent or guardian must remain with the child, and only age-appropriate crafts will be offered. Guests: Non-crafting adults, chaperones, and younger siblings may attend at no additional fee. Crafting Participants: A list of all crafting participants must be provided prior to the party, and each participant must have a signed waiver on file before participating. Booking Details: 📌 $100 non-refundable deposit required to book. Please note that our After School Care Program is currently running from 3-5pm (Tues. & Thurs.), 1-5pm (Wed), and 10am – 2:30pm on Sundays, between August 2026 – May 2027. During June and July, our Summer Camp hours will be 9:00am – 2:30pm, Monday through Friday. See our current calendar here.
